Sour Cream Donuts

Sour Cream Donut

(Doubled makes about 28 donuts)

2/3 cup coconut flour

1/2 cup Truvia, powdered

1/2 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 cup melted butter

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons heavy cream

3 eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Preheat donut maker.

Mix dry together, then mix wet ingredients together, mix them all together. Coat your donut maker with some coconut oil spray. Fill each donut hole up- dough is thick, not pourable. Follow electric donut maker instructions. (I cook for 6 minutes in mine) Remove and cool on rack.


Dip in ganache

Melt plan approved 6 T chocolate chips and slowly add equal portion heavy cream till just melted in microwave. Stir till blended. Chips still look whole, but try to stir after every few seconds. Dip each donut into the ganache and let cool.

Lemon glaze: cream cheese, fresh lemon juice and powdered Truvia mixed to desired consistency.
